From August 23 to 26, China celebrates giant panda culture

China giant panda international culture week is a worldwide celebration of the giant panda and it stands for: a global cultural icon of China which embodies its core values of peace, development and mutually beneficial relationship to the world.
The Panda Week Exhibition is open to the public from August 23 to August 26 at the China Millennium Monument in Beijing (free of charge) from 8am to 9pm. The exhibition will showcase the multi-faceted story of the panda, the conservation and protection work done by activists, researchers and policy makers around the world to conserve and promote the giant panda.
